Boogie Bottoms is a place were the whole family can go to have a great time. The BB complex is equipped with a fully functional Music Stage and Dance Area, Modern Concessions, Children’s Playground Area, Large Restrooms and Bathhouse, campsites, and rental cabins to name a few of the amenities. It is also outfitted with a 3-story Barns of Horrors and an awesome Drive-In Movie Theater...All of this located the Banks of the Locust Fork River.

Short Creek
In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Short Creek; as expected Proctor Branch flows through this area.
So many cool things to do at Short Creek, so little time. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Scarham Creek; Berry Point is in the neighborhood and always pleasant to check out. At this river you will always have a good time. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dry Creek, and a short tour to Short Creek Falls is always worthwhile. High temperatures at Short Creek through the days of summer are in the 90's with night lows in the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 50's; night lows in the 30's for Short Creek.
Short Creek usually gets much rain; the month with most of the rain is March while October is commonly the driest month. Blue Bend is an attention-grabbing site to explore while at Short Creek; needless to say Dry Creek flows through this region.
Locust Fork of the Black Warrior River
If you come at the right time of year, Warrior River - Calvert Prong of the Locust Fork offers some great whitewater, and there's some flowing water nearby, Austin Creek is a stream you can stop by while here.
There are some great whitewater spots on Graves Creek, and let's not forget Little Scirum Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon during your stay. At Warrior River - Locust Fork through the warm months highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; night lows at Warrior River - Locust Fork during the winter mostly descend into the 20's. A good deal of rainfall falls at Warrior River - Locust Fork; March is the wettest month with most rain; October on the other hand is the driest.
At this river you will always have a good time.
Scirum Bluff is an interesting thing to see while you're here at Warrior River - Locust Fork; there's whitewater on Chitwood Creek for all you adrenaline junkies.
